This is the second collection of diverse genealogical records for Pendleton County compiled by the author.  Most appraisals contain inventories of personal property including household items, utensils, slaves, and more; books in particular have been identified wherever present.  Mr. Toothman has also included a brief addendum containing new genealogical material and errata concerning the essay on the European heritage of the pioneer families of Mallo and Voltz which appeared in the first Pendleton County volume.
