Colonial Roots

This is the author's second book on Catholic church records in the Baltimore area.  St. Patrick's Catholic Church was primarily an Irish congregation.  There is a wealth of information found in this volume.  The baptised are listed in alphabetical order.  The birth date (when known) and baptismal date are both listed, along with the name of the parents and sponsors.  In addition, the name of the officiant is also listed.  This is a wonderful source for birth and baptismal records of the mid-1800s.
